Welcome Hidden Gem Hunters

Hello everyone, and welcome to Hidden Gems of Queen City. This labor of love is the result of many hours spent by our fabulous web designer and graphic artist, Emma, and the combined passion of us three Springfield Natives. Though none of us were born here, in our time in this amazing city, we have fallen in love with the diverse and vibrant culture of this spectacular town. Springfield is a community absolutely bursting at the seams with amazing small businesses and organizations hidden in plain sight. Our goal is to bring light and attention to the local businesses that are the heart and soul of our community.

A Little About Us:

First and foremost, this is not a money making venture. We do not accept bribes, tips, commissions, or threats. No one has paid to be featured. Quite the opposite, in fact; If a business is featured by us, odds are that at least one person on this team has been a happy customer at some point! Our goal is to give you honest and real recommendations for the best and brightest businesses Springfield has to offer.

Our hope with this endeavor is to support and lift up the small businesses in this community, and celebrate the workers who have sacrificed so much to serve this community over the years. Moreover, we hope to connect you to some new favorites and help you uncover some hidden gems of your own.

Now more than ever, it is so important to support small businesses. If the last couple years have taught us anything, it’s that community and culture are the most important and fragile things in the world. Small business owners, artists, restaurants, meeting spaces, that is where communities grow and how bonds that last a lifetime are formed. We hope to bring you just a little closer to this city that we love so much.
